Privacy

Clear, minimal,
anonymous by design.

Portugal Out works without asking for your name, email address, or other directly identifying details. We do not create identity-linked user profiles.

Effective 16 July 2026

What the site records

Petition signatures and fan votes are stored as anonymous totals. A random device token helps us count an action once and prevent ordinary repeat submissions. The original token stays in your browser; only a one-way hash is used by the service.

Your language, confirmed actions, and the latest confirmed totals may also be kept in your browser so the site works consistently when you return.

Performance and security

We use limited technical and aggregate information to deliver the site, understand whether it performs well, diagnose errors, and protect voting from abuse. Portugal Out does not use this information to identify you or build a personal profile.

Hosting, analytics, and security providers may process technical information such as an IP address, browser or device details, page requests, and interaction timing when providing these services.

Advertising and external content

Google AdSense may use cookies, local storage, your IP address, and the page you visit to deliver, measure, secure, and—when you consent—personalize ads. If you do not consent to personalized advertising, you may still see contextual or non-personalized ads.

Embedded posts from X and the Cloudflare verification shown when you sign or vote may communicate with those services. Their handling of technical data is governed by their own privacy terms.

Your choices

Where required, the consent message lets you accept or manage advertising choices. You can later change those choices through the privacy options shown on the site. You can also clear this site's local storage in your browser.
